1970 Superbird 440 +6 V-code Limelight, Concours Restored, Two Broadcast Sheets
This Limelight '70 Superbird is bright and fresh, restoration bringing this V-Code back to better-than-showroom condition and then Concours detailed and finished by Restorations by Julius this year. Two Broadcast Sheets document the all the stunning options with which this 'bird is equipped.
The date code correct 440 6bbl powerplant is backed by the original 727 Torqueflite transmission and Performance Axle Package, winding out a 3.55 Sure-grip final drive ratio. Power brakes, disc binders up front, bring Rallye road wheels to a swift stop.
The doors open and close with a well balanced one finder "click". The new vinyl seating and nylon carpeting exude that "New for 1970" scent. All of the high-touch surfaces feel new. The odometer shows the 43,022 original miles. The restoration has only "shake down" miles, and only one mile since the suspension alignment.
The engine bay is clean, tidy, and Concours correct right down the the redcap battery and date coded belts, hoses, and wires. The undercarriage was painted and finished so sanitary, it could be used for surgery.
The car is documented by not one, but two original broadcast sheets. According to Galen Govier's Chrysler Registry, this Superbird is only one of eight as equipped. The restoration is NOS intensive and completed to OE specifications, fresh and crisp, this is a trailer Queen ready for her coronation. If you are looking for a razor sharp show piece, this bird fits the bill.

Restored ConcoursVehicle has usually been professionally restored to the current highest standard, using a combination of refurbished original parts, exact reproduction parts, and new old stock (NOS) parts. Attention to replicating factory fit, finishes, and marking details are paid attention to. Bare metal finishes may be mimicked with paints and coatings to prevent corrosion. Paint and body may exceed the quality produced by the factory.
