1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE "U" Code 440 4bbl, Air Conditioning, Leather Interior!
The second generation Charger has long been the most iconic body shape of the Muscle Car Era. They are also the hardest to find in unmolested condition, still as factory equipped, retaining all the original drivetrain components. This 1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE 440 "U" Code is all of those things and Rotisserie Restored. The only deviation from factory is the addition of the black "Bumble Bee" stripe running around the rear quarter of the car, substituted in favor over the factory V6X longitudinal sport stripes. This Charger is perfectly suited for the Cars and Coffee duty, being turn-key and road ready. The level of detail paid attention to under the hood and in the undercarriage would also warrant a proud appearance at your regional car show, indoor or golf course lawn.
The original factory options are well documented by both an original fender tag and an original Broadcast sheet. Dark Ivy Metallic is enjoying some limelight lately. People tired of black, red, or orange have grown to appreciate the most popular color of the 1960's and early 1970's, recognizing that it is uniquely emblematic of the Muscle Car Era. The Dark Ivy is offset by a rich Charcoal Black Leather Interior, "Buddy Bucket" Front Seats. While the R/T package gave you the 440/375hp big block performance backed by a heavy duty 727 Automatic Transmission, the SE package brought on the luxury uncommon for the time. This Charger came equipped with Full Vinyl Top, Air Conditioning, Hood Mounted Turn Signals, Left Hand Racing Mirror, Leather Interior, Center Front Seat Section, and AM Radio with 8 Track. And yes, she has Power Brakes.
If you are looking for a Charger you can get in, shut the door, turn the key, nose down the road and impress everyone around, this is it.
