1932 Dearborn Deuce Highboy Roadster — all-steel, hideaway top, twin-turbo 408

OVERVIEW

We've all seen them crouched on polished staggered wheels, the fenderless Highboy fearless with show quality paint and big V8 poured between the frame rails as if it were molded from a single piece of high nickel steel. Overhead the tub reads as a teardrop, just wide enough to fit two sets of hips and one steering wheel. The '32 Ford Roadster is high art in that automotive world.

But what if you really want to drive one?

 All -steel Dearborn Deuce Body, OEM-level fit.
 Stretch cabin for two modern adults
 Roll-up windows and a hideaway drop top
 Rack-and- Pinion, power brakes, A/C, and power windows
 Modern suspension with contemporary fuel and ignition management
All of that without compromising the rolling art that makes the Deuce the most popular car in Hot Rodding.

EXTERIOR

The Sapphire Blue Metallic accentuates every iconic line. Shaved hinges, hideaway soft top, bobbed front frame extensions, wraparound roll pan, flush taillights, centered dual exhaust, raked Highboy stance — the body is reduced to the teardrop. The elegance is accented by subtle detail, like the '34 Ford truck headlights with integrated turn signals. Every choice, a custom touch.

The staggered billet wheels, like cufflinks, bring polish to the whole suit. 18's in the front and 20's in the rear, the attitude is brought to this Deuce by Billet Specialties Magnitude hoops wrapped in Z-rated Nitto 555 tires, 225 up front and 305 in the back. They look so good here, anything else would seem out of place.

INTERIOR

Cognac, Saddle Tan, Caramel, call the color of this tasty Italian Leather interior whatever you want. Bespoke, hand formed, handstitched, and built to be lived in. The cabin of this '32 is uncommonly comfortable. A/C vents blended into dash finish panel. Hidden Bluetooth Stereo Receiver. Custom gauge assembly with push button start. And the Polished billet aluminum Billet Specialties steering wheel with Ididit steering column, Lokar gas pedal, brake pedal, shifter, and e-brake handle. The luxury continues at your feet with cut to contour Berber carpets, color matched to the Italian Cognac. Even the interior trunk panels are finished in the same premium leather. Every detail, attention paid in full.

ENGINE BAY

Holley EFI, Banks twin-turbo kit at 10 lbs of boost, Snow methanol injection. Professionally tuned 408 small-block Chevy: 500+ hp on 93 octane. Polished turbos, ceramic-coated exhaust, and stainless hardware shine. Every braided stainless line and hose follows a flow and perfectly functions, from the FAST EFI, the Snow methanol injection system to the Griffin radiator. Professionally built and tuned technology combines state of the art power with daily driven reliability.

CHASSIS

The Custom 32 Ford frame, pinched and bobbed flush with the front grille, was fabricated by Downs Manufacturing. Independent SLA front and parallel four-link coil over rear suspension shift the handling of the Deuce from buckboard to modern roadster. Traditionalists can keep the solid axle. This one is built to steer.

A '32 Deuce is “show all your work” design, even the small parts are the star of the car. The suspension, coil-overs, rack and pinion steering, and brake calipers are all mirror polished. Brake lines are custom bent and mounted stainless through frame fittings connecting to stainless braided lines attached to the calipers. The rear axle assembly and drive shaft are finished in body color.

It isn't just a pretty face. 500 hp through a pro-built TH400 transmission, chromoly driveshaft, to a Ford 9-inch 3.73:1 Posi, 31-spline Strange axles. Wilwood discs drilled and slotted, with internal rear e-brake shoes. 3-inch stainless, hot-jet ceramic coat, Borla mufflers, centered dual tips.

This is a driver's Deuce with auto show manners. Tuck the top away, push the Start button, and hit the open road.
